Beaumont Baptist Church was organized in 1906, after Alice Cooley and the members of the Missionary Society
prayed about the need for a Baptist Church in the Beaumont community. The first building was erected at 717
North Liberty Street. The first service in this structure was held on Sunday morning, February 28, 1909.

In June 1980, Rev. John H. Cox was called to Beaumont. Under his guidance and leadership, the people of
Beaumont realized the need for a larger facility to accommodate the growing membership. In August 1987, the land
was purchased for the present facility at 945 Beaumont Avenue. The first service in this facility was held in June 1991.

Beaumont Baptist Church is a church founded upon God's Word, built by God's grace, and centered
on God's Son, Jesus Christ.
